:?: Hello all. Have done something stupid. Have accidently deleted my user account from my Windows 2000 system setup and now I cannot access the O/S. Does anybody know how to either: 1. Access the O/S using the Administrator account (need standard password) or 2. Change the boot sequence in the BIOS so I can boot from a floppy drive? BTW my laptop is a IBM Thinkpad 600X. Thanks to all who respond.

To log in as the Administrator just type Administrator into the log on name, there is no default password in 2000. To boot from the Floppy go into the BIOS Boot Sequence and set the Floppy as the first device. This is usually the default setting in the BIOS
