Going to look at a little CPU smackdown, Intel vs AMD
The New boy in town e6420 and team-mate Evga 650i sits right at $300
What would you match up against them? See many $175 AM2 MB but nothing closet to $125 to match up w/ a 5600+

at stock speeds the AMD would pack more of a punch, with overclocking in mind, the Intel owns (provided ofcourse you have ram to match etc) ;)

It's ok. You get used to the prices and saving up more for each build. Unless you have some contacts here you pay alot and there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Can't match that combo you've mentioned up there...
