I'm having a problem similiar to the one described at http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/217895-46-scheduled-tasks-hang-running
All scheduled tasks fail to execute, but are indefinitely listed as "running" in the scheduled tasks window. This happens regardless of the actual task. To test, I created a batch file that simply ran 'calc' and placed it locally on the desktop. The result was the same. I've restarted the system & process, and checked the "task scheduler" service properties and log...all to no avail.
This problem is preventing my backups from running, any thoughts? Thanks!
EDIT: Forgot to mention, the system is running Windows 2000 SP4.
