I am having a wierd problem with some of our Windows 2000 Professional computers.

I created a vb script (they also have a .bat) script that would all all the printers to the computer once the person executes it. The script works fine in Windows XP and is able to add all 254 printers. But when you try the same script or the batch file on a windows 2000 pro machine you get errors stating that the computer is unable to connect to the printer. The vb script just says that the name or syntax is wrong on line 4 or 5 or so on depending on which windows 2000 machine you try it.

We have tried everything from re-installing the nic drivers to changing cables but no success. Anybody have any ideas?

Edit: I forgot to add that if we double click on the printers that the script will not add we are able to add them without any problems. But out of the 254 printers only about 130 or so will be added so it would take to long to find out which printers were not added if we had to do this manually everytime somebody logged in.
