I actually got a free new PC once from an offer a number of years ago.

It was from a company called "PeoplePC" (They may still be around.(

The "Catch" was that you needed to open an E-Trade account with a balance of at least XXXX dollars.

The best part is that I was in the process of doing it anyway.

The PC I get after a small memory upgrade as better than what I had at the time.
