Hey guys, I've been trying to this a Boot.ini problem for a computer at my dad's company for a while now.
I created a floppy with Boot.ini NTDetect and Ntldr.com and whatnot and I get the Ntoskrly (spelling) error.
Basically, I give up trying to fix this problem. Its like an eight year old pc and its time for a reformat anyways.
My questions is, what are some ways of backing up the data on a hard drive that cannot boot into windows? I found a program called seklie or w/e but its 100 bucks.
Any other options?
Put the hard drive into another computer or get yourself a device that allows you to connect hard drives via USB or Firewire. Moving the hard drive to another computer is obviously the most cost-effective method.
