hi,

i know its a bit late on the discussion considering the date of this post... but what does modified date mean for win 2k? i mean, if u open the file n close it again, without doing anything, does that change its modified date? in win 2k i can only work with modified dates...

can anyone clarify the grounds when a file changes its modified date?

thanks

Modified date means what it says - it changes when you modify the file in some way. Opening it anc closing it without change changes the last accessed date.
