If you're into overclocking, go with the Opty. The 165 is available for $155 at the Egg.
If you're not going to OC then go ahead with the 4600, if you managed to find one.

With 1.8GHz stock, the Opty 165 is not one of the most impressive dual cores, but it is a very good overclocker for 2.7-2.8GHz and will perform very well. However, you need to stress your motherboard around HTT 300, play with timings etc, while with the X2 4600+, you have a stock 2.4GHz chip which will not bottleneck your gaming setup. Most probably will do 2.6GHz without any problems if you want, so overall, I'd go with the X2 4600+; have had an Athlon64 3000+ before my 4200+ and a 9X multi is not that comfortable for OC-ing a S939 CPU.
