Hello

I am having a problem reinstalling my windows. Every time I insert my windows CD inside the CD-ROM and restart my computer, my BIOS wont read the CD and take me to the windows setup. It goes straight to the windows loading screen and then to the desktop.
Any suggestions? DO you think that the BIOS configuration should be changed?

When you switch your computer on you will see a message saying something like Press Esc for BIOS menu (it could be another key, depends on the make of your PC). Look for the message and press the key when asked to do so.

Take a look in the menu options and look for a Boot menu option.
Change the boot order to seomthing like:

CDROM
FLOPPY
HARD DISK

Save and exit the BIOS menu.
If you get stuck please post the make and model of your PC in this forum.
