More Information

Howdy:

I have a windows/apache webserver setup and running. I also have a home 1gb network with 4 computers.

Currently my dsl comes into my modem then to a switch. Out of the switch to 2 routers. One for the webserver and another router for the local lan. That setup works fine.

I currently transfer files to the webserver by an external 2.5" hd. I transfer files that are to big and slow by ftp. I would like to put the webserver on the local lan. I have tried it but after I access via the lan I can't access it via internet explorer on the net.

I think it is acting like the local computer gets confused as to file locations. When I first try it itbrings up the web page by graphics won't display. Then if I try and refresh it will not find the webpage at all.

Help!

John
