Transfering protected WMV files from 1 pc to another

There are two different PCs, running WinXP.

How can you transfer protected windows media content over the a new PC? I've tried the license back up already and it does not work. The files are not available on the new PC because of the protection.

Microsoft's Private Folder application may not be so private

Yesterday we wrote about Microsoft's free Private Folder 1.0 application that encrypts and password protects a folder on a desktop. According to our research and the astute eyes of one of our readers, the contents of the folder may not be so private. Johnny Granlund emailed us saying that he was able to access the folder simply by rebooting into Safe Mode. CMS Products is currently shipping their "copy2go-Xpress" software that promises to search and backup your media files on the hard-drive. Hard-drive capacities have grown tremendously in the last year and some consumers are having a hard time keeping track of their many JPGs, MP3s or movie files. Fuji, Konica Minolta and Eastman Kodak today released the final specification of "Everplay," a set of rules that promises users to ensure compatibility of today's digital pictures and movies with future storage media.
