Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB (2 X 1GB) PC2-8000 1000MHz Memory Timings: 5-5-5-15 at 2.2volts

Corsair XMS2 2GB (2 X 1GB) PC2-6400 800Mhz Memory Timings:5-5-5-12-2T at 1.8volts

Moving up to a ddr2 platform most likely a AM2 ee X2 cpu but still looking at C2D. I am going with 4gigs off the bat. The Corsair and Crucial are 19dollars different in price. I used to be die hard Corsair but many my brethren have gone Crucial. Might be looking for a lite to moderate over clock but performance per watt is watt i think is my main goal . So anybody have any of theses babies cooking? What kind of OCs you seeing? Any input is appreciated.

I'd try to get some info from Crucial on what voltage would be required to run at DDR2-800 and what the timings would be at that speed, or what the specs would be at 1.8V. Otherwise it's a bit of an apples to oranges comparison.

Crucial's web site says 2.2volts on all ballistix models just runs at 4-4-4-12 at DDR2-800 no command rate was specified by Crucial.
