Hi guys

I need to put win2000 on to a Dell Precision T3400, cause some of the programs needed run only on that OS and won't run stable under others.

first the installation is loading all those drivers, and when it starts the install process I get a blue screen what states that my hard drive is messed up, I tried 3 different drives, all the time same problem. I tried 3 different win 2000 CD-s, still the same. changed cables, still nothing.
I'm out of ideas, hopefully you have some ideas.

so far I have been able to find out that its all about the correct drivers and the installation CD doesn't have those, but unfortunately i just cant find those right drivers.

What size hard drive(s) are you using and what service pack level are your Win 2K CDs?

HDD would be Western Digital 300GB 10.000rpm (WD3000HLFS)
win2000 CD is a SP1, I will try the SP4 but I don't have it yet, have to download it first.

You need SP4 for hard drives larger than 137 GB.
