Hi guys. Just downloaded the new Sandra XI and among the things I noticed:
-New, cool interface touches; nice
-graphs now also show percentage comparisons; good
-They've taken out their stupid performance rating which even after being heavily retouched, rated each core of my X2 4200+ about the same as each virtual "core" of my 3.0GHz P4 HT at work; thanks!
-Fixed the problematic Vcore rating; well done
The problem; the temperature sensor shows me 63°C when both CoreTemp and RMClock (which read from the on-die diodes) show about 54°C and the motherboard sensor used by Aida32 displays about 47° (somehow lower as expected) and it is the same sensor all previous versions of Sandra referred to because they were perfectly synchronized, but how the heck do they get this new value now?! Do they guess it, extrapolate it from their horoscope or what :?:
Could somebody else download the thing and give some feedback on the argument?!
