Hi,
I'm running Windows XP for over a year now with no problems... untill now...

1. I put a DVD on my DVD Drive
2. I open "My computer", go to the DVD, and open a directory named "ABC" on the DVD.
3. I than eject the DVD. (The explorer with "ABC" directory is till open)
4. I put some other DVD, that does not contain "ABC" directory.
5. I try to close/refresh the Explorer on the "ABC" directory, and all I see is the hour glass...

all I can do is restart windows... :fou:

* It is NOT the cable. (Switched 3 times)
* It is NOT the DVD Driver. (Switched 2 times)

Please... Please... Please...
I can't take it anymore!

Thanks
Gil.

It's very possible it's looking for the ABC directory on the new DVD. Try clicking on another drive in Explorer before ejecting your DVD

Close the explorer window BEFORE you eject the CD. Yes, the window should close automatically when you eject the disc... but in your case it isn't... so the best thing to do is close the window and open a new one.

Should have tried updating it first... or even emailing them about it. One thing I have found with Panda is that they actually listen to their customers and fix bugs that are brought to their attention. Their firewall was conflicting with a few webpages, so I brought it to their attention. A little while later, they had a hotfix that solved the issue. Certainly a level of service I wouldn't expect from many companies...
