Hi , i have a hp m7790y pc with a duocore 2 and running windows vista home and recently my hard drive got corrupted and they send me the vista home recovery discs..Well i recover my pc to its factory condition but i also have another older pc which is actually a year older and it's a hp m7360n with a pentium d and it came with windows xp..What im curious to know is if could run those same vista home recovery disc on my old computer and have vista installed also ?

Sounds like a bad idea and like it will just screw up the pc...Im just going to forget about it and keep xp ...
