Hello,
My first time post here. Last night I recieved a new external battery
for my pocket pc (iPAQ H5555). I have had my ppc for over 2 years and for
some reason it hasn't been holding a charge for very long. Well I removed
the old battery and replaced the new one. Plugged in the charger and waited.
When I woke this morning I turned on the ppc and it had resetted back to
"out of box" mode. I manually installed all the apps, on account I didn't
backup, and tried to use the wifi to connect to my router (linksys WRT54G).
Nothing happened. The light flashes green, the system shows it's connected,
but there is no internet. Also, the router does not display that it is
connected.
I have tried everything to restore my ppc back to normal and nothing
seems to work. I can't figure it out. It will also pick up hotspots, but
will not connect to those either. I am lost.

Can anyone give me some suggestions? I can't go to the battery people and
say their product screw my system, so if anyone has any technical advise I'd
really appreciate your help.

Jay
