untrained eye doesn't see much difference can anyone tell me which it
would be best to leave the set on and why?

Set it to 720p since then it will match the native resolution of the set and
reduce the number of times the video gets scaled.

For rear projection crt sets, you know, the ones that are about 2 feet
deep.

Somewhere around Mon, 20 Dec 2004 05:40:14 GMT, while reading

Actually, the Samsung hlp-46w is closer to 1 foot deep, and only weighs
about 70 lbs.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I have tried both 1080i and 720p on my DTV
tuner connected to my TV via DVI cable. My untrained eye cannot really
tell the difference in picture quality. The only thing I can tell for
sure is that the setup menus from the DTV tuner are smaller in size in
720p mode.
