vista is taking for ever in a day to buring 164 meg -- in actual fact its going to take 3.35 hours???

Details of my setup below- can anyone help?

DVD/cd writer ASUS DRW-1814BLT both CD writer and HD are SATA

164MB in 3.35 hours is not good. I have one of those drives, it takes me several minutes to burn a 2GB image.
Have you updated the firmware to 1.1?

Been on the Asus website and can't find any firmwire updates?
