Okay, I am building a computer for my friend. He will be doing Gaming, Videos, and music the most. His budget is $750. Here is what I got. All suggestions welcome. And also will the PSU be sufficient?

The CPU is a little weak for the GPU, I would try to bump up the CPU or OC to a bit higher than you plan (2.2-2.4 GHz or better) or save some money and downgrade the graphics card.


I would opt for the former, OC to about 2.6 GHz, you should get that on stock cooling, get the brisbane core though so you have some power wiggle room.

You can OC the 3600+ to 2.6Ghz? What could the 3800+ OC to?

you can get 2 wd hard drives for 20 bucks more and raid them for some blisteringly fast drives.
Also the board is a bit outdated, for around that price you can get a more updated board witha newer chipset etc.
The power supply is misserable, i would wiat to build this, you need a bit more money to do it right.
