unidentified processor

so, i've got a processor here...its very odd. i don't know what it is. it looks much like an oversized pentium I, except that it has a large gold colored heatspreader on top. Attached to the heat spreader are two threaded bolts, that attach to a heatsink using nuts.
anyone know what it is? all the numbers i run off it turn up with nothing. no company logo. nothing.
i'll add an image soon, i don't have time right now.

Probably a DEC Alpha AXP 21064 Processor.

DEC Info

Yeah it might be an EV5 or EV6 based processor. Which means it has a lot in common with modern day Opteron K8 processors bus wise.

But it is a RISC based processor for servers.. and back in the day Highend servers.

Might look like this.. (Prototype)

As Samsung won the rights to produce them when DEC was bought out by Compaq/Intel.

Here's another shot of it.. (Retail version)

EDIT:
Could also be an EV56 variant which predates the EV6.
