Invalid system disk

Hello,i tried reformatting my laptop windows 98, but every time i'm inserting the system cd, " invalid system disk" always appear..kindly help me pls.

You need to make sure your CD drive is set to boot before the hard drive.

Where is the reply from Ashera! Dang freeloaders kidding.
Anyway, if help is still needed you may want to remove the floppy from your old laptop that should help too.
