I received a coupon code for raxco perfectdisk 8, that is vista certified. Have to check the 64-bit compatibility though. Have you guys had any real-life experience of using 3rd party defragmenters with vista, is it worth it? The disk is 150GB Raptor, using it for normal office app + gaming.

Some people are getting 3rd party in order to have more control over actually seeing the defragmentation levels. However, you won't get any better performance, just more ability to maybe control what you're seeing, which is worth it for some folks.

Currently using Diskeeper 2007 Vista 64 compatible. Does what it says execeptionally well. Interestringly, bought online from Diskeeper.com in for $99 US (£51) whereas Diskeeper.co.uk £99
