Hi,
I’m Unable to replicate both my PDC and BDC. The PDC was offline for over three months, while the BDC was running well for all users on the LAN. After the PDC was rectified HDD fault – back online – I cannot seem to replicate bother servers due to an error saying – on the PDC that the Tombstone life has exceeded and unable to replicate with BDC…………….I’m totally lost any ideas anyone.

Basically it's saying that you haven't replicated for a long time, so it thinks something may be wrong. Edit the registry as detailed here and you should be able to kick off replication again.
