I have windows xp with sp2 installed. IE7 is also installed. I can type a url into the address bar and hit enter but IE will not go to the url or even search. I always have to use the search window and go to web sites that way--very frustrating. help

Try another browser, seriously. There are so many other browsers out there that work so much better than IE 7. I wouldn't waste my time with problems concerning those halfass MS products.

BTW, I use Opera. Free and feature rich. Never a problem.
