So on the specs, the E6750 is 64-bit compatible.

I have just built a new computer with this processor and I am wondering if going 64-bit before the Vista jump is worth it? Anyone have any thoughts?

Not a lot of support out there for XP Pro 64... support for 64-bit Vista has already exceeded that of XP. If you're going to go 64-bit, wait until you upgrade to Vista.

No point in 64bit OS unless you are going to use a 64bit application.
