help with viewsonic computer with windows vista

hi i have recently purchased a viewsonic computer (va1903wb)

everytime i log on it says service failed i have rebooted it several times and it will not log on

anybody know anything?

Very strange problem, but I'll throw this out there: that monitor is only VGA, are you using a DVI-to-VGA converter by chance, or a KVM switch? Could be the cause of the problem, I can't think of anything else that would cause a monitor to break Vista in such a way. I also suggest trying safe mode just to see if it works, or even a system restore, by tapping F8 before the OS boots.
