Hi,

I'll be getting my new PC soon and setting it up, and want to start off with a number of programs that'll give me a clean run for awhile. I'll be using vista for the first time and the system will be pretty decent, and I download/torrent alot and want to be at least relatively safe.

So what vista programs would you recommend to start fresh with?
I'm talking about anti-virus, anti-spyware, cleaners, etc.. I know everyone uses different things but as long as its one of the most recommended then thats fine with me. Currently I'm using AVG and CCcleaner.

AVG and CCleaner are both good. Spybot Search and Destroy and AdAware are both good for spyware. eusing free registry cleaner works well. None of the above have ever cause a problem for me
