Hi,

I have a dual boot with Vista and XP. Everything is working fine but i have a message before the selection of the OS.
http://img527.imageshack.us/img527 [...] 03wu1.jpg. It doesn't cause any problem for me to boot any of the OS but it slow a little bit the boot process and it doesnt look very clean :ange: . I didn't have this problem before, it started yesterday. I would like to know a way to hide these messages. I found someone with the exact same problem than me http://www.vistax64.com/vista-inst [...] s-before-b oot-os-selection.html but i can't find a solution.

You should be careful about posting screenshots that indicate Vista Loader, which is generally involved in bypassing OS activation. That being said, you shouldn't see that screen unless your boot sector/loader is on a drive different than the one Vista inhabits. This typically happens when you install the OS and have a different drive next in the boot order in the BIOS, or in cases where you dual-boot and have a particular order of OS installs. You have to move the boot loader to the Vista drive...you might want to start by checking out VistaBootPRO and EasyBCD.

I have dual-boat with XP and Vista on a Raid0 volume. I installed XP first. I already have VistaBootPRO also. In the System Boot Loader Maintenance, i can choose to install the vista bootloader or the windows legacy bootloader. I can also performance a maintenance a the drives or i can force bootloader install. I don't really know how to move the bootloader to the Vista drive.

Thank you.

I'd like to state that your issue is one I've seen and is just a minor annoyance, but if you do want to amend it you can do so, although it's not for the faint-hearted.

If you read the 4th and 5th posts at the link below, you should get a general idea of what you have to do, but I would suggest having a Linux Live-CD or similar (for possible fixing with GRUB) just in case:
