my dad locked himself out of his computer, and doesnt know the password. Is anyway to get back into windows and unlock it?

Try going into Safe Mode and log in ad Administrator and create a new user account with Administrative privilege. I've read on this forum a way to get into the Windows if you forget your password but don't remember what it was. Could do a search of the forum or hope someone that knows this see this. In the mean time the above should work unless he gave Administrator a password and has forgotten it. He might have to reinstall some programs but not all as a new user
