Hi

I've instilled Ubuntu 7.10

But i cant login in as root

Its saids u cant

Can anyone help me with this

Haven't used Ubuntu for some time...
From what I remember you can't log-in as root, you have to use su or sudo.

As MrLinux said use su or sudo

Login with your normal username and password and run

sudo su -

when asked for the password type in your normal user password, not the root password.

That'll do it.
