Softpaq?

Heya;

I've tried installing a driver for my Compaq KB-9963 keyboard, and the installation pops up a windows that says - "ERROR: Unable to open the Softpaq file : c:\documents and settings\alex"

What is a Softpaq file and where do I get one?

Softpaqs are simply software / driver patches / updates. Compaq came up with their own name for them for whatever reason. Any updates you install for Compaq hardware from Compaq/HP's website will be a "softpaq" and have a number associated with it.
