When I boot up my computer and log into windows, it takes 3-4 minutes for the taskbar to become functional. I know this cuz I can double-click on any icon on my desktop and it will only appear 3-4 minutes later. If I click on the start button, it takes 3-4 minutes to display as well.
My taskbar also hangs when I run some applications. For example, I stuck my bluetooth adaptor in to transfer some stuff. After unplugging it, the taskbar took 5 minutes to regain functionality.
The taskbar date also jumps 50 years into the future(year 2067) every few weeks. I checked my BIOS and there was nothing wrong with the date or time, and I used internet time update but it still happens. My time zones are set correctly(GMT +8).
I have NOD32 on my computer. Well that's about it. Ran a scan with trojan hunter and nothing turned up.
I second Zoron, but before formating try to run nod(make sure it's up to date) in safe mode, also, you might wanna give trojan remover a shot, very good app. If that doesn't help than follow zoron's advise
