Any way to use USB on a Win 95 Sytstem

I like my windows 95 system but wish i could use my thumb drive instead of floppies. Any one know of how to connect a USB port to a 95 system?

If I recall correctly, 95A could not do this, but 95B could.

I don't know if you can still get the needed hardware to do this, but first verify which windows 95 version you have.

I think there was a card you could get to add USB support, but it defintiely was only for win 95B or win 98.

Yes, Win95B added USB driver support, but came with virtually no drivers. Then for Win98 the USB driver model was changed, and manufactures had to rewrite their USB drivers. Also, in order to qualify for the Win98 logo, Microsoft required the manufacturers to ONLY make available Win98 drivers for USB devices, thereby forcing users to upgrade to Win98. Fun times. . .
