With the release of the HD 2900XT coming up I'm going to end up building at the beginning of June, with or without ATI condering the never ending delays. But as details of this card emerges I just don't know what to get for a PSU. Anyone know of a good PSU that has a 8pin PCI-E cable that isn't over priced?

There arent many low power PSUs with 8pin power connectors out right now, most of the unit that have 'em are high-end units, like the 1000w Enermax Galaxy, insane overkill for your system.

The Enermax Infiniti line however are much more affordable, have the right amount of power for you, and come with 6+2 pin connectors, so you can use it as either an 8 pin connector or a 6 pin one.

ok this is random, but a board such as the 650i chipset from Evega would still be combatible with ATI cards but it wouldn't run crossfire correct.

k thanx for confirming my thoughts. Not a bad loss for a better board. I don't seem to like the boards that support crossfire(the very few that I can find), but that could just be me.
