My Vista Home Prem. came with a $20 rebate for Win Live. At $40 from Newegg, ends up only costing about $20.

NOD32 is the only antivirus my precious hdd will ever see.
Has saved my butt several times, finding unknown "vira" - only to have them named and classified a few days later - it's that good.

I used to have Norton for XP and moved to OneCare with Vista. I have Vista 64 and must now use the OneCare beta 2.0.

I always found that Norton was a resources demanding, was taking a lot of time to initialize. With OneCare, great.

So, my question, Is Norton 360 a great product?

Other option: Download the Live OneCare Beta 2.0 and you will have a free product for like 180 days... :) I had to do that because of the current version that I own and a paid subscription is not Vista 64 compatible :(.

Ditto - When I built my new machine I was going to get Norton 360 but the reviews were less than I wanted. I did a little research and decided on Kaspersky...it runs great, doesn't bother me and has kept my system clean.

AVG free is my preferred. used Avast! for a while, but it's nasty habit of scanning incoming files(every single one), even when I've told it not to put me off.
