I am building a new comp and want to have both XP Pro and Vista Ultimate 64. Is it better to have a dual boot or us MS Virtual PC 2007 and run XP Pro through that?

Here are my specs in case you care lol:

Asus P5N32-E 680i
Intel Q6700
2x2GB Patriot eXtreme Performance DDR2-800
eVga 8800 GTX
2x400 GB Baracuda HDD in Raid 0

Virtual PC does have some drawbacks, mainly in the video memory department, so I wouldn't suggest dual-boot if you plan on gaming with the guest OS.

You mean you wouldn't suggest Virtual PC then, right?

It does its job fairly well, I just wouldn't use it versus dual-boot if I planned on gaming on the guest OS (XP, in your case). If you're going to use the guest for applications, testing, etc., then it should be sufficient.
