Need to install 95 on a laptop with no cd drive

Hello,
I have a problem where I need to install windows 95 on my friends laptop with no OS on it. I have a plan, but that requires DOS 6, and I cant find the install disks for it. Help!

Windows 95 used to come on floppies, but probably difficult to find a set nowadays.

Have you tried OpenDOS?

Yes. I believe it is supplied as floppy images.

There's also FreeDOS.

Take the disk drive out of the laptop, connect it with an adapter on an other computer, copy the W95 install CD on the laptop HDD. Create boot diskettes there, from special directory on the W95 CD, or a W98-Me CD, or find the contents of some boot diskette on the Internet.

Put the HDD back in the laptop, boot the laptop from the W95-98-Me diskettes, launch the W95 installer from the HDD. Much faster than from the CD, more convenient as well since the drivers are at hand.
