I found a copy of windows server 2003 and I want to put it on my computer, but will it erase my window xp files?

Are you talking about dual-booting? If so, no. But if you're talking about upgrading from XP to Server 2003, then it's a different story... it won't upgrade. You'll have to back up your data and reload.

It's best two have two hard drives... load Server 2003 on the other hard drive.
