When at Walmart check out the really nice Panasonic DVD-S27 player.
It does it all other than its a single disk player. It has a really
nice remote. In the back you see component and coaxial connectors
along with the RCA jacks if you have a older set.

I bought this same player a year ago and it was $89. This year its
much improved and down to $79.

Consumer Reports December issue rated it as their # 2 player.

I have a back up DVD's that I made on PC with IntervideoDVD Copy2, and
this player does not recognize them. It gives me the message : This
type of disc cannot be played, insert a different disc.

Is there a firmware upgrade that could resolve this problem???
