Hi, I just bought a D-Link Xtreme N router @ 119$ at futureshop, but its not MIMO!

I was wondering what is the best router out there, that has MIMO, best reliability and best range.

Also, Is there any wireless N router that could allow me to get ranges around 200-300 meters? After hacking/moding of course!

THe N standard won't be ratified until 2008, next year, so i suggest you stick with the D-Link - it's pretty good for now.

Well, I still can return that D-Link router if I can find a MIMO router that is highly hackable to get around 200m range... if this is possible...

This buffalo mimo is the longest range router that you can put dd-wrt on

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6833162134

If it still doesn't make the distance you can set up two with wds and wpa encryption or simply a directional antenna.

If you want lower range with high throughput I suggest DI-634M with a super g or more expensive super g mimo arthos card

None of these a are draft n but they work dam good and they're cheaper then draft n stuff
