Well, I was bored with all the new CRPGs so I go back and replay one of the best ones in history on Vista32. Every time I quit the game, it crashes at ntdll.dll, any ideas or someone having similar issue? I have the two CD version and it's 1.1 version.
What am I suppose to do with them? I can't force the game to load the XP ntdll.dll and the 2nd link looks like only contains links that require me to download something.
Description:
ntdll.dll is a module that contains NT system functions.

what error message are you getting ???
DLL right!!!
so it may be a registry error
Perhaps the easiest way to fix this problem is to use a Registry Cleaner like Registry Mechanic

Well that's not it as this is with a fresh Vista install (I have installed fresh Vista on a virtual machine to test and same thing) and I normally use CCleaner for fixing registry problem. This is likely a incompatibility between this old game and Vista32. Funny thing is Vista64 works fine. But I don't like to use it as it runs damn slow on my 2GB RAM machine and doesn't run some old programs that I can't live without.
The error message recorded in the event log is: Faulting application Torment.exe, version 1.0.0.1, time stamp 0x3b8f1527, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549bdc9, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00061ca6, process id 0xba8, application start time 0x01c7eed0b0f6c440.
The offset is always the same BTW. Any other ideas?
