Quick question.

I have windows vista ultimate 32-bit.

When I run WINDOWS UPDATE program, does it find all the BEST drivers for all my hardware.... OR should I go to all individual site and download individual drivers?

For example, I have an 8800GTS, and Windows Update found and downloaded drivers for it, and it works pretty well. If I went to NVidias site and downloaded 8800GTS drivers, would they be the same drivers I already have installed?

Thank you in advance,

-jack

You are best off getting the latest drivers from the maker of your components. Especially for your video card, since those are updated frequently.

I've had nothing but problems with the nVidia drivers MS posts in Windows Update. Even if they do work (as yours do), they likely won't have OpenGL support.
