Hi to all,

I have a hdd 80gb ext. ieee works on one pc
and disapeared on the other since today
xp sp2.

any surgestions for a reapearance would be great thx

You can get the diagnostic/repair software from the hdd mfg website.

I had the same problem with USB also after installing SP2. I went to device manager and uninstall my USB driver, then scanned for new hardware which reinstall these driver. I then had full access to my USB device.

Give it a try with the firewire driver, might also work.
