More Information

I've ghosted a hard drive to another hard drive, and put it into a new system (Athlon x2 4400, Asus M2NPV-VM motherboard).  9 times out of 10, doing the windows overlay (repair option #2) will go through without a hitch.  This time, it lets me select repair, copies the files over, reboots, and blue screens before it can get to the 39 minutes remaining screen.  I can't think of anything in Bios that might cause this.  Recently, I did the same thing; tried 2 new motherboards with the same result.  I ended up putting the drive into a used Dell Tower (p4 3ghz), and the overlay worked.  In this case I need the overlay to work with the parts I mentioned.  I've tried all the obvious, ram, cpu, etc. Any ideas?

thanks in advance.
