Hey guys, I have a quick question. I recently installed xp 64-bit on a partition. I updated everything ok and installed drivers successfully. I installed Madden 08, steam, and the fear 64-bit version. I tried to install other ea sports titles such as nba 2007, tiger woods 2007, etc.... When I tried those titles, it game me an error saying that directx wasn't installed. I download directx and install it but still same message. Has anyone run into this issue before. I am a total 64-bit OS noob and can't seem to find any info out there. The thing that is weird is that I was able to install madden 08 and play it, but other titles won't install. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have experienced the same problems and decided that it has something to do with the WOW64 emulator that comes with XP x64.

My recommendations would be to make sure you have service pack 2, and all available updates for x64.
Many games just simply DONT WORK.

I have no explanation for this, but it seems to be a very persistent problem with EA Games.
