There has to be some type of emulator program that I am unaware of to allow me to play games such as Age of Empires 3, WoW, and various other Windows or OS 10 based games.

Thanks for your help :)

WINE is not an emulator and your mileage will vary.

On fedora9

Code :
  1. yum install wine

or

Applications => Add / Remove Software

Good luck :)

------------------------------ $GNU_Linux=$Linus_Torvalds=AWESOME();

You might like to have a look at this site which give information about running games under Wine (including which games will work).

Then get the .exe install file and right click and "Run with: Wine" or something

Install and way you go.

I've found command line more reliable.

Indeed, the command line is the way to go.

Normally wine installs into /home/$user/.wine/

Apps usually go into /home/$user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/

So you can cd into /home/$user/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/$your_app/

wine $launcher.exe

Good luck :)

... or if your using KDE, it will automatically index itself under "Wine" in the K launch bar

Your program is also searchable from the KDE 4 search bar found on the lauch bar.
