I just created a new build and for it created a slipstream installation disk with nLite. I must have done something incorrect since the only user available to login was 1 account with limited access. I meant to just have the generic first account with full administrator access.

Is there an easy way to get into the administrator account and give the created account administrator access?

Thanks.

I was able to boot in safe mode and I learned a couple more details. My first intent when creating the slipstream cd was to create two accounts - one for me and one for my wife. The one for my wife is the one that is available when I boot in normal mode. When I boot in safe mode, the only account is the one for me set up as an administrator. Hers is not listed.

So, I can log into my account in Safe Mode and her account in Normal Mode, but want both to be available to login in normal mode.

Thanks.

Try this, log on using your wife's account in normal mode and create a new account as a computer admin and name it your name. when restart your pc 2 users should appear 1

Boot into Safe Mode, login as Administrator and create an Administrator account for yourself. In Windows XP Home, the Administrator account is only visible in Safe Mode whereas limited accounts are not.

I went ahead and did a clean install from my original Windows XP Home CD (pre SP1). I didn't feel like things were installed properly and just did a clean install. 9 billion updates and 38 reboots later, I think I am in pretty good shape.

Thanks.
