Just wondered if there was anyway to have 2 screen resolutions on different devices. I have a 8600GT graphics card that is equiped with 2 DVI ports. I have one plugged into my LCD monitor and the other plugged into my 42" Plasma TV.

What I would like to know is if it is possible to run 2 different screen resolutions on each device at the same time. I would like screen res of 1024 x 768 on the plasma and 1280 x 1024 (i think) on the LCD monitor.

I have had a look through the Nvidia control panel, but cannot seem to find anything.

Thanks in advance
Steve

I'm not up to date with LCD/Plasma TVs, but I don't think you can adjust the resolution they display?

Something to check on...
