I just received my new dual boot system. Vista 32 bit home on one hard drive and xp pro on a second hard drive. Use boot menu to select from which drive to boot. All data files on a separate external hard drive.
I imported all Outlook data into a new pst file using Vista (xp wouldn't do it for some reason). I previously used the old computer to export to csv (dos) files from archive.pst (office xp version). From some reason by computer was using archive.pst for the main file instead of outlook.pst. Imported csv (dos) into outlook.pst (office 2003 version). Everything looks fine. When I open the file using xp, all the one day events are converted to 2 day events. When I reopen using vista, everything still reads as 2 day events. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?
Problem solved. It was not a Vista issue but a time zone issue with Outlook.
